Angie Gabel, LCSW
Welcome to Providing Hope and Healing, LLC. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Kansas and Montana with 30 years of experience in the field of social work. My career has encompassed diverse areas including addictions, foster care, and, for the past 13 years, dedicated service to veterans, active duty military, National Guard, reservists, and their families.
I am deeply committed to trauma-informed care and empowering individuals to understand the connection between trauma and the body. I believe in fostering a life of meaning, happiness, and hope for each client. I specialize in working with individuals navigating a variety of life circumstances, pre- and post-bariatric weight loss patients, couples, and veterans.
My therapeutic approach integrates a range of evidence-based modalities, including solution-focused therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), trauma-informed care, Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART), narrative therapy, person-centered and strengths-based approaches, and Gestalt therapy. Angie also offers coaching and clinical supervision. Christian-based therapy is available upon request.
